How can non-formal education support the members of an organization get to get to know each other, reflect, and have fun?



InCommOn organisation promotes sustainable and participatory urban development to address the challenges faced by Greek cities. InCommOn has offices in Thessaloniki, Athens and a lot of team members work remotely from other cities.
So, how can this team connect deeply, despite geographical limitations?
Together with InCommOn team, we designed 2.5 years of monthly workshops to support team members to get to know each other, reflect, share, listen, co-design, plan, and have fun.
A holistic approach that created a brave space for InCommOn team to come together and connect.
Each workshop’s theme was tailored to the evolving needs of the team, ranging from well-being topics to funny competitions, self-reflection, and team-building exercises, like:

▶️ Games with questions about the team and the organisation.
▶️ Active listening in personal and group challenges.
▶️ Positive gossip! Sharing what we appreciate about each team member.
