Health Lab was a series of workshops aimed at studying the challenges of Greece’s national health system.

Health Lab was implemented in collaboration with Global Shapers Athens, with the support of the “Desmos for Youth” program and the scientific advise of the research organization diaNEOsis.

Workshop themes:

  1. Key challenges of Greece’s health system
  2. Identifying the root causes of each challenge
  3. Mapping the core dynamics affecting the system
  4. Finding strategic advantages & designing action plans for the future

Greece’s health system consists of a diverse network of stakeholders, including doctors, researchers, administrators, and nurses, all of whom were invited to participate in the workshops.

The sessions were conducted via Zoom, utilizing interactive digital tools such as Miro and Mentimeter to enhance engagement.

Through this workshop series, we successfully created an inclusive space for stakeholders to engage in dialogue, identify critical challenges, and propose innovative solutions for the future of Greece’s healthcare system.

50+ participants
18 cities
4 days

More than 50 participants took part in the interactive workshops, sharing their views and perspectives. The participants included administrative staff from the public and private healthcare sectors, doctors, nurses, academics, health entrepreneurs, and students.

The discussions utilized the systemic impact methodology, which focuses on analyzing the fundamental changes that influence a system.

At the same time, leveraging the mapping conducted by diaNEOsis’ research team, the Health Lab applied systemic modeling to capture the relationships and dynamics among the key stakeholders of the healthcare system.
